Bobby Cooper
Chairman
Bobby Cooper is a high school graduate with two years of college and an electrical apprenticeship. Bobby is an electrical journeyman. Bobby retired from Chrysler Corporation after 36 years. The last twenty years with Chrysler were as a dock dispatcher where his responsibility was managing the flow of materials and containers in and out of the docking area. Bobby is a faithful member of Twelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church where he is the Chairman of the Trustee Ministry where he assists with the flow of the finances of the Church, and also the maintenance of all Church properties. Bobby also volunteers on other Ministries of the Church including the Food Pantry where he serves as Chairman of the Board and buyer, and does many other tasks.

Mary Williams
Secretary and Interim Financial Secretary/Treasurer
Ms. Williams is an engineering graduate of Michigan State University and a master's recipient from Wayne State University in Engineering Management. She is a retiree of Ford Motor with 28 years of management experience. During her 28 years at Ford Motor, Ms. Williams worked in design and release engineering, finance, international engineering in Japan and Mexico, information technology and product testing and procedural development. As a Program Manager, Ms. Williams utilized her management skills to assure the quality development of Truck products from concept to delivery. Ms. Williams serves on the Pantry Board of Directors as Secretary and fundraising Director. Mary's main Board functions include maintaining accurate and sufficient documentation of all meetings and events, custodian of personnel and official records and liaison with other community organizations and activities. Ms. Williams also serves on the Churches' Trustees Board, and transports and works with the youth of the Church.

Prior to his affiliation with the Twelfth Street Food Pantry, Frazier Brown spent several years in membership with the Twelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Comptroller and Deacon. After retiring from Chrysler Corp. after 36 years as an Industrial Engineer, he began his volunteer work with the Twelfth Street Food Pantry. A graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit, he brings to the Food Pantry his many years of experience in Accounting, Organization, and Management, plus his willingness and desire to help others.
Barbara Henry
Charter Financial Secretary (Deceased)

Ms. Henry is a retired Banking Officer and Manager from Chase Bank with over 35 years of experience. During her years with the Bank, she held numerous positions in the Main Office in downtown Detroit as well as in the Operations Center in Belleville, MI. where she had the responsibility for many of the "back-room" operations in the Item Check Processing Department. Ms. Henry is a long-time member of over 50 years at the Twelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church where she has participated in many of its ministries. She is a Trustee with 25 years of experience in serving in the mission of the church and has worked to help keep the Twelfth Street Food Pantry funded as a volunteer and now as a member of the Board of Directors. Barbara's primary function on the Board is that of Financial Secretary, focusing on making deposits, balancing bank statements, helping to handle requisitions and assisting the treasurer.
Hiram Little

As a member of Twelfth Street Missionary Baptist Church, Hiram is on the Deacon Board, a Sunday School Teacher, part time church security and food pantry volunteer. Hiram has worn many hats in private life as well. Work experience includes being an Assistant Instructor and later recruiter for an adult education school putting him in position for a pilot program as a Transportation Specialist for the State of Michigan. That job led to opportunities with the State culminating in a position with DHHS as an Assistance Payment Worker where he issued food stamps/bridge cards, cash, handled child daycare and assigned clients to various medical programs. Hiram's final DHHS position was as a Social Worker. He retired from the State after 20 years of service. Hiram's professional experience has proven a great source of information to those served by the pantry. Hiram serves as Co-Chair on the Food Pantry Board of Directors and volunteers for various task in the food pantry including intake where his great humor and ability to bring calm to a stressful situation, have been a great asset to the pantry. When Hiram was in school, he often got in trouble for being a jokester. Who knew that jokes would become an asset?? God truly does work in mysterious ways!
